While everyone’s comfort level is different, most of our Carolina Ultherapy patients say that treatment feels like a tingle or a warm sensation. There is also the possibility of some residual tingling for a short time after the procedure, but patients rarely refer to the experience as painful.
Ultherapy is a remarkable low-risk treatment. The most common side effects are residual redness, tingling, or tenderness around the treatment area, which tend to resolve themselves within a few hours.
The biggest difference between Ultherapy and laser skin rejuvenation is that the treatment method for Ultherapy is primarily beneath the skin.
